Oak Island: Animation
Stop-motion style animation about the history of theOak Island treasure hunt
The story of Oak Island had been told many times, but I wanted to create a kids version in the style of stop motion animation. This was created using After Effects and Photoshop. This version of the story is written and narrated by me.
Here are a few stills from the animation. The animation was storyboarded, then blocked out, then textures applied, and finally animated. It was made to look like a paper animation through techniques in After Effects including drop shadows and paper texture overlays.
