This project is a 3D modeled diorama with a focus on an illustrative style. Always the lover of nature, I wanted to recreate a modeled nature scene in a glass bowl as an attempt to play with the scale while examining the relationship that I have with it.
I designed the project in Blender and created the materials by scanning in watercolor shades on a heavily textured paper. Then I mapped the cropped and scaled version of the texture to the UV’s in Blender. Below is the modeled and the final outcome.
